Pratt & Whitney Canada is a global leader in propulsion systems and supplies engines for the world's most advanced aircraft.
In all cases, a safety factor of 3 was applied, the welds undergoing the most stress were evaluated, total deformations were provided, and all cases were analyzed in static conditions, i.e., without fatigue or dynamic effects.
Mandate
The deliverables provided by LDV include:
Perform a finite element analysis of the calibration device according to 3 load cases;
Finite element analysis of an engine assembly replica according to 5 load cases.
