The requirements
The Isle-Maligne power plant is the oldest in Rio Tinto's grid and plays a key role in managing the water level of Lac Saint-Jean. It also occupies a strategic position for the future of low-carbon aluminum production in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
The project involved one (1) set of downstream gates consisting of six (6) sections and the accessories connected to these elements. The new logs must be functional with the current downstream embedded parts of the Isle-Maligne power plant.
The mandate consists of performing calculations, engineering, manufacturing and installation drawings, and procedures for six (6) Stop logs.
