The requirements

Our client is a global leader in the development of innovative processes in the pulp and paper industry to optimize manufacturing processes. In pulp manufacturing, our client's minerals are used to control sticky materials and improve bleaching. Environmentally friendly, this solution provides the desired chemical composition, whiteness, and viscosity, and optimizes production quality and efficiency. This new process will be integrated into the pulp and paper production of a paper mill in Témiscamingue, Québec.

Mandate

The deliverables provided by LDV include:

Project management and multidisciplinary coordination;

Procedure for obtaining a certificate of authorization;

Cost estimation (±10%) and schedule preparation;

On-site survey;

Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering;

Electrical engineering/control instrumentation;

Equipment selection and modeling;

Creation of piping routing and isometric drawings;

HVAC Engineering (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Control);

Fire protection engineering;

Preparation of specifications and coordination of equipment procurement;

Preparation and management of the contract with the general contractor;

Preparation of installation estimates and management of on-site installation.
